Corporate Social Responsability

With responsible business practices a major concern for the fashion industry, the Fédération has sponsored a study on corporate social responsibility (CSR) and fashion. An increasing number of initiatives – public and private, collective and individual – have appeared in recent years. Yet fashion businesses, especially small and mid-sized ones, have trouble assessing the real challenges and finding ways to produce results. How can businesses adapt to this new situation? What are the real demands on the market? The Fédération has asked the Vigeo research agency, a leader in CSR standards, to conduct a study on these questions.

Wholesale

A second study analyzing new ways to sell fashion has also been conducted. Traditional wholesale is undergoing a transformation. The growing importance of omnichannel activities, the acceleration in how information is spread, the development of the big retail chains, the evolution of multi-brand boutiques, and the arrival of new business models are challenging traditional methods. The rhythm of seasons, collections, and sales has been shaken up, and the brand/actor relationship is changing. What are the new rules for wholesale, and how can wholesale professionals adapt?
